New Square Residences at Trinity College Student

This project involved the refurbishment of two existing historic residences located within the University of Dublin, Trinity College. Student and lecturer accommodation was refurbished, with the works involving the upgrading of services, refurbishment of sash windows, complete redecoration and energy upgrade works. Each apartment had new bathrooms and kitchens fitted. A new sitting room was completed and each bedroom had new flooring and furniture fitted. Existing doors were upgraded to become fire doors, historic plasterwork was repaired and existing flooring was lifted to accommodate services and then refitted in its original location. The stairwell refurbishment included the cleaning of the granite stairs and decoration using heritage colours.
