Congratulations to Louth County Council and Drogheda on the opening of the new Civic Offices in Fair Street. It’s fantastic to see our built heritage refurbished and revitalised. We hope that its users enjoy the facility.
We celebrated at the Greenside Building yesterday as we have just completed the superstructure. We marked the ‘Topping out’ yesterday with a traditional practice of placing an evergreen at the highest point of the building. Hopefully it will keep away the evil spirits! We want to thank our many partners from the design team to our subcontractors for reaching this significant milestone.
Townlink have completed this impressive 7 storey over basement pre-cast structure on behalf of Niche Living. It is a serviced apartment scheme comprising 98 studio apartments with hi-spec communal and amenity spaces. Townlink are proud to have delivered the building which also comprises well-appointed living spaces and roof terraces.
All the fun of the fair!
Our annual Townlink BBQ at Radisson St. Helen’s yesterday was a big hit with young and old. There was plenty for everybody. The only one not to show up was the weather … but that didn’t stop us.
Looking forward to seeing you all again next year!
Great progress on our St Finbar’s Court Project, with this fine spell of weather all our external envelope elements are coming together.
WAACC (Whitefriar Aungier Area Community Council), are Townlink’s neighbours at our Greenside Building, Cuffe Street. We recently had the opportunity to support this initiative by providing a native Wild Irish Cherry (Prunus Avium), to their gardening club, as well as a range of children’s toys and games for their summer outreach programme.
We were warmly welcomed to the development at Crabbe Lane by Brendan Dowling and his team. Brendan was able to talk us through the development of the community there, including its links to the surrounding area at York Street and the original Greenside Building. The tree is being planted in their Community Garden beside a doorway from one of the old York Street tenements.
Townlink continues to develop relationships and support the communities in which they work, as a considerate neighbour.
Level 6 poured at the fantastic Greenside Building
